moden Custom Shopify apps

Checkout

A checkout built around how you really sell.

Delivery days, gift options, custom fields, validation and trust content, placed exactly where the shopper decides. We build the extensions and the rules behind them as one private app.

Where off-the-shelf stops

The default checkout can't know your business.

It is built to convert the average store. The moment you sell something unusual, it needs to ask a different question.

  • Information you can't collect.

A delivery day, a gift note, a VAT number or a nominated warehouse has nowhere to go, so it ends up in emails and spreadsheets.

  • Rules enforced too late.

A postcode you can't deliver to, or items that can't ship together, are found after payment instead of before it.

  • Reassurance in the wrong place.

Returns, delivery promises and trust content sit on other pages while shoppers hesitate at the last step.

What we build

Checkout extensions, built for your store.

Each piece is a small extension with one job, built to match your brand.

  • Custom fields and notes

Delivery notes, gift messages, VAT numbers and instructions, saved to the order.

    Plus
  • Delivery options and dates

Nominated-day delivery, cut-off times and carrier rules shown at the right step.

    Plus
  • Validation and rules

Block or warn on undeliverable addresses, restricted items and impossible combinations before payment.

    Plus for custom apps
  • Upsells and trust content

Gift wrap, add-ons and returns promises in the steps and on the thank-you page.

    Thank-you page: Basic and up

Example

A nominated delivery day, chosen at the right moment.

The shopper picks Thursday, the order carries it to your warehouse, and your team sees it without opening an email.

  • Cut-off times that change with the carrier.

  • The choice saved to the order for fulfilment.

  • Styled to your brand, so it feels like part of your store.

Plus and other plans

Checkout on Plus, and everywhere else.

The deepest checkout changes are a Plus feature. There is still plenty to do on other plans.

For Basic, Shopify and Advanced stores

Every other plan

  • Thank-you and order status pages for post-purchase offers, surveys and reorder buttons.

  • Cart-page features delivery estimates, add-ons and gift options before checkout begins.

  • Order data carried through fields captured in the cart and attached to the order.

Questions

Before we speak.

Do I need Shopify Plus?

For changes inside the information, shipping and payment steps, yes. For the thank-you page, the order status page and the cart, no. We design the app so the Plus-only parts switch on when you upgrade.

Will it slow checkout down?

Extensions run on Shopify's own infrastructure in a sandbox. We measure checkout speed before and after launch.

What about Shop Pay and Apple Pay?

Express payments skip some steps, so we design rules that work on both paths and tell you where a field can't appear.

How long does it take?

Most checkout extensions take 6 to 12 weeks from the first call to live, depending on how many rules sit behind them.

How it works

From first call to live store.

A commission follows the same five stages every time. You see a working preview every week from the build stage onward, and the price is fixed once the specification is agreed.

  1. 01

    Discover

    Week 1

A working session with the people who will use the app. We map the process it replaces, the data it touches and the plan your store is on.

  2. 02

    Specify

    1 to 2 weeks

A written specification and a clickable prototype inside a development store. You approve the scope and receive a fixed quote.

  3. 03

    Build

    3 to 8 weeks

We build in weekly increments. Every change is reviewed by a second developer and tested before it reaches your preview. Each Friday you get a preview link and a short note on what changed.

  4. 04

    Launch

    1 week

Installed on your live store, tested against real orders, and walked through with your team until it feels like it was always there.

  5. 05

    Care

    Ongoing

Shopify releases a new API version every quarter. We move your app onto each one before the old version is retired, and keep it monitored.

Begin a conversation

Describe the app your store needs.

Plain language is fine. Tell us what should happen, who uses it and what it replaces. We reply with questions, an honest view on whether a custom app is the right answer, or a time for the discovery session.
