Questions
Yes, where your payments setup supports it. Local-currency subscriptions generally need Shopify Payments or a compatible gateway, and a subscription keeps the currency it was bought in. We check your setup on the first call.
Often we don't. A billing app can handle renewals while our app handles member status, the portal and perks. We build the billing layer only when your rules need it.
In the UK and EU, subscriptions need clear consent, easy cancellation and renewal reminders. We build these in, but you should check them with your own legal adviser.
Subscription events update status as they happen, and a scheduled check catches anything that was missed.
How it works
A commission follows the same five stages every time. You see a working preview every week from the build stage onward, and the price is fixed once the specification is agreed.
A working session with the people who will use the app. We map the process it replaces, the data it touches and the plan your store is on.
A written specification and a clickable prototype inside a development store. You approve the scope and receive a fixed quote.
We build in weekly increments. Every change is reviewed by a second developer and tested before it reaches your preview. Each Friday you get a preview link and a short note on what changed.
Installed on your live store, tested against real orders, and walked through with your team until it feels like it was always there.
Shopify releases a new API version every quarter. We move your app onto each one before the old version is retired, and keep it monitored.
